The All India People’s Manifesto is a blueprint for the future of India – made by the people of India.

For the 2009 election, the people of India came together to create their manifesto for change.

Over 365 parliamentary constituencies, in 29 states and UTs, 400,000 people developed local manifestos of their demands.

Together, this created The All India People’s Manifesto.

>> You can read and download it by clicking here <<

Online, we worked in collaboration with YouTube to reach out to young and urban voters. The site gained over 1Lakh views and was the 19th most watched in the first week of its launch.

Celebrities and eminent personalities also added their support to the campaign.

We have been prominent in the media. We were a lead partner of the Times of India Lead India campaign, and have appeared on CNNBC, Zee News and all the major newspapers at a national and local level

We took The All India People’s Manifesto to the 10 leading Political Parties and to 29 MPs – each receiving the Charter of Demands from their own constituents.

Many of the demands were present in the Manifestos of the Political Parties. Whatever the next Government, we will be pressing them to use the All India People’s Manifesto as a blueprint for governing India over the next four years and end poverty and social exclusion.

Thank you for your many comments – they contributed to the manifesto.

Across the country people are coming together to develop the All India People’s Manifesto – the most extensive effort to establish a grassroots driven, people’s development agenda in recent times.

Across 29 States and Union Territories, local groups are organizing public meetings to develop a Charter of Demands for each constituency, and asking their Member of Parliament and other potential election candidates to commit themselves to the fulfillment of this development agenda.

At the national level, the demands are being taken to all major political parties to ensure that India’s national objectives are based on the ground realities and aspirations of people living across the country, and that in the world’s largest democracy, it is not merely our votes but also our voices that need to be heard. The status of women epowerment and participation of women in development activities in some part of Uttrakhand is very low and particularly in PRI husbands of elected women acting on behalf of them.
The another major problem still remain the heavy out migration of youth and no employement generation in hilly areas.

We would like to form a people forum on the issues to raise the voices.
Pl. suggest the steps and process to take an action.

    OneIndia,StrongIndia&PowerfulIndia!
This only can happen when we have a stable goverment and its upto us to vote national party, not regional parties, either BJP or Congress.
There should be three language manadatory for every states…
National(Hindi),Regional&English(Esay Access)language for every Indian.Demand for to make RTI more transparent, stricker rules in police, health, welfare, and all administrative system from ward office to state govt.& central govt. with more accessable and frindly manner…
Improve&guide basic civic systems from grassrroot or from primary standards.Discourage discrimination against castes and religon,Encourage to respect every single indian with each other.
Lot more are there, but at least these half can be demanded by our new elected goverment than only our own individual manifesto can be filfilled…
So,its upto us what we actually want or desire for our country or life in future…
There is two way to lead a life….
1.Live n lead your life selfishly and don’t bother or care what is going or happening arround you,let it be…..who cares attitudes.
2.Wake up! be responsible, confident n determine and start for a CHANGE,don’t wait or expect for others to do……
SO, lets encourage every Indian to VOTE and form a stable govt. for ourselves, for our better futures, not for these politcians….

THE CITIZENS OF INDIA SHOULD VOTE ONLY FOR THAT PARTY THAT COMMITS THE FOLLOWING :

    1. TO PROVIDE THE SOCIAL SECURITY ID AND CARD WHICH CAN BE USED FOR EVERY NEED – FROM IDENTIFICATION, VOTER ID, RATION, HEALTHCARE ETC., INCLUDING PAN CARD, WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF COMING TO POWER.

    2. TO MAKE THE I INCOME TAX LEVEL TO 10% FLAT FOR THE SALARIED CLASS, IRRESPECTIVE OF THE LEVEL OF INCOME. THIS ITSELF WOULD ADD UPTO A HUGE SUM AND NDIA iNC., WILL HAVE SURPLUS WORKING CAPITAL

    3. TO COMMIT THAT THE ANY AND EVERY BLACK MONEY FROM INDIA IN THE SWISS BANKS WILL BE BROUGHT BACK BY A SINGLE ORDINANCE WITHIN 6 MONTHS FROM WINNING THE ELECTIONS. THIS WILL EVEN NULLIFY THE NEED TO LEVY AN TAX ON THE INDIAN CITIZENS, FRWARD.

    4. TO BRING UP A REASONABLE COMMON CIVIL CODE

    5. TO CHANGE THE RESERVATION ELIGIBILITY ON THE BASIS OF INCOME AND NOT ON THE BASIS OF CASTE

    6. TO TABLE THE MONTHLY EXPENSES OF THE GOVTS, ON THE GOVT OF INDIA AND THE STATE GOVT WEBSITES, FOR THE EXPESES MET OUT FOR THE TRAVEL, SECURITY AND MISC EXPENSES FOR THE VIPS LIKE MLAS, MPS ETC..

    7. TO FORM AN ALL INDIA LEVEL FORUM OF COMPRISING OF EMINENT PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT WALKS OF LIFE – TO EVALUATE EVERY BILL BEING TABLED – BEFORE IT IS ENACTED AS THE LAW.

    8. EVERY INDIAN SHOULD SERVE THE DEFENCE ON A COMPULSORY MODE – AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. THIS SHOULD ALSO INCLUDE THE REGISTERED PARTY WORKERS OF DIFFERENT PARTIES – FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF TWO YEARS. THIS WILL KINDLE TRUE PATRIOTISM AND WILL PRODUCE BETTER RESULTS WHEN JOIN BACK THE CIVIL LIFE

    9. TO DECLARE THE TRUE ASSETS OF EVERY CANDIDATE TRANSPARENTLY; ALSO THEIR BACKGROUND [ FAMILY & PERSONAL LIFE, NO. OF CHILDREN ETC;]. ANY BODY HAS MORE THAN TWO CHILDREN IS THE VIOLATION AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO CONTEST; ALSO, ANYBODY WHO HAS A BLEMISH IN THEIR PERSONAL LIFE [ LIKE MORE THAN ONE WIFE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT OR ANY KIND OF POLICE RECORDS ] SHOULD BE SUMMARILY DISQUALIFIED. AS THESE PEOPLE WHO DOES NOT POSSESS INTEGRITY IN THEIR PERSONAL LIFE , QUITE NATURALLY, CANNOT BRING IN GLORY AND PROSPERITY TO THE NATION AND TO ANY CONSTITUENCY.

    10. ANY PARTY OR PARTY WORKERS INDULGING IN CASH FOR VOTE, DURING CAMPAIGN, THE ELECTION COMMISSION SHOULD IMMEDIATELY COUNTERMAND THAT CONSTITUENCY FROM GOING TO POLLS. WHICH MEANS A RE ELECTION – THIS MAY INCREASE POLL DISCIPLINE AS A RE POLLING, RE CAMPAIGN, ANOTHER CAMPAIGN EXPENSES ETC.

    11. OPEN DEBATE ACROSS THE CANDIDATES ON A PUBLIC FORUM – MUST BE THE END POINT OF THE CAMPAIGN. THE CANDIDATE SHOULD APPEAR PERSONALLY FOR THE DEBATE. THE CANDIDATE WHO DOES NOT APPEAR MUST BE DISQUALIFIED FROM CONTESTING.

12 THERE SHOULD BE LOCAL MANIFESTO – MEANING THE REQUIREMENTS OF EVERY PARLIAMENTARY CONSTITUENCY IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER. THE EACH CANDIDATE SHOULD DISPLAY THE LOCAL MANIFESTO, WITH APPX TIME PERIOD OF ACTION COMPLETION AGAINST EACH, AT THE COLLECTOR’S OFFICE OR ANY PROMINENT PUBLIC OFFICE TILL THE ELECTIONS ARE OVER. THIS SHOULD FORM PART OF THE COMMITMENT DOCUMENT IF HE/SHE WINS. IF THE ACTIONS DOES NOT TAKE PLACE THEN THE PUBLIC HAS EVERY RIGHT TO “CALL BACK” THAT MP.

    HELP HELP HELP

The younger generation is the only recourse to remove us becoming a fully established ‘SLUMDOG NATION’.

They must participate in these elections as independents even at this late stage. They are close knit and brilliant enough to raise funds like Obama did and they are young enough to take this challenge, with grit and selfless dedication.

The manifesto must forcefully drive home to the electorate the ingeniously selfish designs of politicians and bureaucrats who have let them down time and again during the last 60 years and have left them so totally poor in urban areas and so wholly far behind and humiliated as the ‘SLUM DOGS’ amongst the comity of nations.

The younger generation should stand for elections making their own party to remove the totally discredited existing leadership. They should not waste money but use their generation of family and friends to promote this theme by doing door to door canvassing and hopefully become termites in getting rid of the political dead wood that is destroying India.

    SUGGESTED MANIFESTO

    1. We will ensure that at least 90% of the money allocated reaches the actual beneficiary at the rural and urban levels. At present only 15% of the allotted amount finally reaches them.

The rural population must be made aware that over 85% of the money meant for them for rural development like roads, water supply, lighting, housing etc is being siphoned away by their governing masters.
Similarly, the subsidies sanctioned to them for fertilizers, fodder, labour wages, and old age pensions etc are not reaching them and the money allotted for them for such purposes is also dishonestly being siphoned. This is the main cause why they remain poor and the dishonest who have taken their money have become rich.

    2. We will make it a Policy of State to bring back as much as possible of the over 1400 billion US dollars of Indian money dishonestly lying in safe havens abroad.

As per western conservative estimates India’s dishonest have stashed away around 1400 billion US dollars of their ill gotten money in safe tax havens in countries like Switzerland, Austria and others. To find out details of such money shall now be possible as these countries are enacting new laws whereby their banks can make full revelations about such deposits. This money is the amount we would spend on the next ten 5 year plans. An ideal Indian resource of our becoming a superpower in the next 50 years. The nation must use every conceivable incentive possible to wean this money back for the overall and total benefit of India by even giving the owners special relief’s and pardons and may be benefits like the Privy Purses. This is a surer way of getting some our money speedily, than taking recourse to Courts etc.

    3. We will totally remove the present system of governance structured around a well executed ‘ORGANISED CHAOS’ and thus deprive our mal-administrators their main and unending source of lucre.

In mans earliest stages of development there was chaos. Further development removed this and brought about improvement. However the’ brilliant and ingenious Indians’ made a quantum jump and evolved their own philosophy. ‘ORGANISED CHAOS’ because that is where the ever flowing lucre lies.
